My BLOODY Valentine

dinner over candlelight
soft, romantic music playing in the background
a dozen long stem red roses
candles and a bubble bath
gushing over each other with words of I Love You

Nope. Nun the crap for me. Instead...
Waiter: Can I please have the hot looking fellow with the concussion and the cut on his head. Yes, that's him with the blood running down his face, brain pulsating when he washed it off, requiring a trip to the insta-care and 5 stitches. Oh, and don't forget that the doctors told him he was lucky cause it could have been much worse.

Every Sat. morning Justin tries to get together with the guys from church and head out to the Bloomington caves. This fine morning (Valentines Day to be exact) a rock ( the size of a football) was knocked loose from the climber above Justin and as they yelled "watch out below" he covered his head with his hands and the rock went right in between his hands to create a nice long gash.
Aww... Now how romantic is that?!

Pre-Stitch

Oh so cute

5 Stitches and no pain medication later (he was more worried about his hair being cut than the pain. How would he ever be able to style it if they had to shave)?!

I must say we ended the night with some delicious Samauri 21. Sushi, yummy! My fav

Oh my! What a fun Valentines for you! Don't feel bad, I didn't get any of the gushy stuff either. It was State Wrestles for us! Yep, there was definately love in the air there! And a bonus with whiny, bratty, kids the whole time! Oh the joys of being a mom :)

That is so scary. I hope he is feeling ok. And I hope you are too. I ran into Kelle Pectol yesterday. I guess Pegs isn't doing so good. Have you been to see her lately by chance? What do you think about meeting up and going over to visit her? Let me know. Talk to you soon.

That is nasty. I would have fainted and needed to be carried home. I almost passed out once when I cut my finger. It didn't even need stitches! Have fun this weekend. I want to see pictures.

OH MY LORD! I gotta give you credit, K...I would have fainted if B had come home with his head looking like that! At least he didn't try to stitch it up himself...
